#AllCoopedUp with Estee Stanley, Interior Designer and Founder of The Eye Agency

Estee Stanley is an artist’s artist!  I love her seemingly effortless style, her always contagious energy and her mad passion for the issues she cares about (which luckily includes design of all sorts).  It’s these qualities that explain her super successful career path of fashion stylist turned interior designer and now, most impressively, the founder of The Eye Agency - an interior design matchmaking firm. With a work ethic unlike any other and impeccably chic, eclectic style, Estee can turn any house into an elevated home. At a time when we’re #AllCoopedUp, feeling comfortable in our spaces has never been so important and Estee knows all the tricks! -Jenna

What’s your profession, and what does your day-to-day work experience look like now?

Founder of The Eye Agency and Interior Designer. Daily I'm working on acquiring more talent for The Eye and procuring projects for all of my artists. I'm also finalizing some of my last design projects.

Are there objects or spaces in your house that you are newly appreciating? Or are there objects and spaces you have come to loathe?

I've come to loathe my kitchen. It feels really worn in, especially after being stuck in the house these past few months. It needs a big refresh.

Describe your at-home quarantine uniform.

Super comfy, beachy dresses.

Who are you quarantining with? Do you feel the need to “get away”? How do you make it happen?

I'm quarantining with my family. And YES! We got away and are in the Hamptons now.

What’s the last thing you purchased online? Regret or obsessed?

Just ordered these amazing Gio Ponti armchairs. Hopefully obsessed!

Tell us the best shows, podcasts, or books you’re loving right now.

I just finished the last season of Homeland, which I'm devastated by... and now I'm waiting for Search Party to start.

Do you have any new quarantine activities or rituals?

I've started working out at my house and I'm biking, doing yoga and meditation much more than I was before.

What is your favorite quarantine snack? What restaurants are you ordering takeout from?

I've mastered banana bread! Started www.gonebananasbread.com with my quarantine recipe and that is for sure my favorite snack! I've been ordering takeout mostly from Jon & Vinny's and Petit Trois.

What is the one item you’re glad you stocked up on? What do you wish you’d stocked up on?

This sounds strange.. but I'm so glad I stocked up on Rao's Tomato Sauce. My kids love it and I can't find it anywhere now! I wish I'd also stocked up on chocolate.

What is your creative outlet and how are you making space for it?

Lots of online shopping and looking. I try to make time for this a couple times a day.

Describe your biggest quarantine indulgence.

Redoing my kitchen floors.

If you have kids, how are you maintaining some kind of schedule for them?

Great question... let me know if you have any helpful hints.

What are you doing for exercise?

Biking and yoga!

Are you sharing recipes with friends?

Some... my husband does most of the cooking. I shouldn't be in the kitchen unless I'm baking banana bread.

What’s been the biggest challenge for you throughout this?

Not seeing my friends / being social!

When this is over I cannot wait to ___________.

Have the biggest party my friends and family have ever seen
