UK-based designer and woodworker Jamie Gaunt transforms each piece of wood into a timeless heirloom. Hand-carved with a subtle, stone-like texture inside and out, each bowl highlights the raw, organic beauty of unfinished wood—designed to age gracefully and deepen in character over time. The ebonized version is created by applying a natural solution of vinegar and steel wool, which forms iron oxide that reacts with the oak’s natural tannins to produce a rich, dark finish.

This bowl is left unfinished, showcasing the natural beauty of the wood. Not suitable for food use. Each piece is handmade, so slight variations in shape and finish make every one unique. Measurements are approximate.
