#AllCoopedUp with Interior Designer Brigette Romanek
It’s hard not to be captivated by Brigette Romanek’s creativity after connecting with her - if I could bottle up her magnetism and spray it all over a room, I would! While we’ve crossed paths many times over the years, Brigette has also been a favorite designer for many of my clients and friends. Her work is always stunning and innovative, often pairing unexpected elements together that feel fresh and inspirational. Romanek has been featured in many major design publications, and now we are beyond excited to have her on #ALLCOOPEDUP. - Jenna

How would you define your personal design aesthetic?
Eclectic for sure!
What’s one favorite design project you completed in the past few years?
A home for Gwyneth Paltrow that I’m in love with.
What's one design trend you hope stays behind in 2021?
Ceiling lights with globes. Does that make sense? Lol!
What are your go-to paint colors?
“Elephants Breath” by Farrow and Ball and “Decorators White” by Benjamin Moore.
What was the biggest risk and biggest reward in a recent design project?
The biggest risk was a color combo that could have gone terribly wrong. But after really mixing and playing with the fabrics for a few days, then putting them down, and then looking again with fresh eyes, we loved it and went for it. It turned out gorgeous and bold and chic! It was a dusty rose, yellow and lavender room.
What inspired your furniture designs for your Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams collection?
Los Angeles, curves and old Hollywood. I told you I’m an eclectic one!
What's one piece of design advice you give to all your clients?
Let’s create a movie all the way through, each room a different scene, but there’s a thru-line. And let's make it live!
